Elypse is a side-scrolling adventure game made by Hot Chili Games and distributed by PID Games. It came out on May 17, 2023, for PC on Steam and Epic Games Store. The game’s price is $14.99, but it has a 10% off deal until May 24. Elypse supports eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Portuguese.
The game tells the story of a person who is sacrificed to the Abyss, a dark and perilous world that is revered and feared by the people. With the help of Nyx, a mysterious being who lives in a cave, the player must explore the Abyss and find a way to escape their fate. The game has a dash-and-slash system, different skills and abilities, and atmospheric settings. The game is called a “tragic tale” and a “mesmerizing and mysterious world” by the makers.
