Maybe some of you know of “The Barefoot Doctor“? But for those of you who do not, he was, as sadly he passed away January 2020, Stephen Russell, who wrote under the pseudonym The Barefoot Doctor, was a practitioner and teacher of Taoism, its medicine, philosophy, meditation practices and martial arts and manifesting system, or wu wei.

I personally have many of his books and have watched much of his video training, he not only impacted my life, but the lives of countless others…..we were all his friends….for he took the stance that everybody and anybody was his friend on first meeting, though he would requalify that as he got to know the more about you.

So, yes, a great man who did great works and is sadly missed.

Being that I have been aware of the Barefoot Doctor for many years, I do of course get newsletter updates on a regular basis, recounting his teachings and indeed the progression of that which he left behind.

Stephen had a fantastic way with words, clarity, humour and teachings all in one. And I noticed over time that Jake Russell, who pens the newsletters has that same style in his writings as his father.

Now Jake has launched his own website Cobsalad.com offering his services in coaching and teaching of physical health and mental strength, in vigour, in existential exploration and self-development. I encourage you to check this out now and also The Barefoot Doctor website…..I feel there is something for everyone.

Added to this Jake has also agreed to Guest Blog on plentyus.com and I cant wait for his first post, so watch this space VERY SOON.

    Best Regards

    Dominus
