  • Add the 50ml water to the yeast and a spoon of sugar
  • When the yeast has swollen, add it to your mixture and knead with your hands
  • Add the salt
  • Leave for 30 minutes in a baking tray
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes at 220 degrees Celsius
  • Check if it is done with a wooden stick. If not, give it a little longer. Of course different ovens are more or less effective in this regard.

Once its done, take it out of the oven and it should be ready to eat! The bread is delicious with a very rich flavor and firm texture. You can spread butter onto it, use it to dip in soup or otherwise use it as you would any other bread. Its nice toasted too!
